Young footballers are in for an unforgettable experience this May as Newcastle Town hosts a thrilling three-day Football Holiday Club, packed with World Cup-inspired action, skill-building, and plenty of fun at our fantastic Roe Lane Playing Fields site.

Running from Tuesday 26th May to Thursday 28th May 2026, the club will offer youngsters the chance to develop their game in a lively, inclusive environment while enjoying the spirit of football.
The week kicks off on Tuesday 26th May with “Brazil Day – Skills and Flair”, inspired by the creativity and style often associated with Brazilian football and stars like Neymar. Players will take part in exciting sessions focused on tricks, dribbling, and confidence on the ball, before finishing the day with a fast-paced futsal tournament designed to sharpen their touch and decision-making.
On Wednesday 27th May, the focus turns to “England Day – Passion & Big Match Energy”, celebrating the pride and intensity of the England national football team. Participants are encouraged to wear their favourite England shirt as they take part in high-energy games, competitive matches, and a full matchday-style experience that captures the excitement of tournament football.
The event concludes on Thursday 28th May with “World Cup Tournament Day & Awards Ceremony”, where players will represent different nations in a competitive mini World Cup. Teams will battle through group stages and knockout rounds, building towards a grand final inspired by the drama of the FIFA World Cup Final.
The week will finish with a special Awards Ceremony, celebrating the efforts and achievements of all players. Awards will include:

The day will also include a certificate presentation, ensuring every participant leaves with a well-earned memento of their time at Newcastle Town.
