The club is absolutely delighted to announce the signing of the highly rated defender Jayden Kirk from our friends at Foley Meir FC.
The 18 year old, who has been learning his trade in the North West Counties for the past 12 months, caught the eye of Club Chairman Gavin Appleby and Manager Neil Baker on visits to watch Foley over the past 6 months.
Previously with Port Vale as a youngster, Jayden also plays for Macclesfield FC U23s, and made his debut for Macclesfield’s 1st Team in the Cheshire Senior Cup further adding to his pedigree. The club has had some excellent success stories in developing young players over the years and believes Jayden has the potential to become another.

Manager Neil Baker commented “Getting Jayden over now makes perfect sense to us, he has impressed us each time we’ve seen him and not only does this add some depth to our squad now, it is also a great signing for the future of the club.”
Jayden said “I am excited to join Newcastle as I’m looking forward to the new challenges this move will bring to my development while contributing to a successful Newcastle team.
We would like to pass on our thanks to Foley Meir FC for their help and support with the transfer. The clubs have a good relationship with Town already sending Dan Harrison and Nathan Barry the opposite way on loan until the end of the season.
