Newcastle Town Football Club can confirm a number of changes to the club’s first team backroom staff ahead of the new season.
Neil Baker will continue in his role as First Team Manager, with Adam Shillcock stepping into the position of Assistant Manager as preparations for the 2026/27 campaign continue.
The club are also pleased to welcome Ciarian Millington to the coaching staff. Ciarian is a young and ambitious coach who brings experience from his previous roles with Market Drayton Town, Whitchurch Alport, Shawbury United and AFC Telford United. His enthusiasm, energy and desire to develop make him an exciting addition to the management team.
In the medical department, Pedley Adjei joins the club as First Team Physiotherapist and will be supported by Olivia Rowley. Both will play an important role in supporting player welfare, fitness and recovery throughout the season.
Jason Clarke, Kit Manager of the Year, will continue his excellent work in his role too.
As we welcome new faces to the football club, we also place on record our sincere thanks to those departing their roles.
Dean Gillick leaves after many years of outstanding service to Newcastle Town. A true servant to the football club, Dean’s commitment, loyalty and dedication over a long period of time have been invaluable and he departs with the gratitude and respect of everyone connected with the club.
The club would also like to place on record its thanks to Paul Wright for his outstanding contribution to Newcastle Town Football Club. Paul’s professionalism, commitment and unwavering support have played a significant part in the club’s progress, and his efforts behind the scenes have been greatly appreciated by players, staff and supporters alike.
We would also like to thank Scott Bentley for his contribution during his time with the football club and wish him every success for the future.
We expect there will be further strengthening in the club’s football operations, with further additions and developments across the footballing structure planned in the coming weeks as Newcastle Town continues to build a strong platform for the future.
