Post Reaction via 0-5 loss VS Stalybridge Celtic FC
Having the opportunity to interview assistant manager Paul Wright, his excellent reaction from the lack of threat in our previous games underlined that “ It’s solving them problems as a management team and group of players “ as they hope to improve on this in our next fixture.

Looking forward to our next crucial fixture on Wednesday, Paul explained that the team will “stick to their plan, stick to what we can do, and get the points on the board”. To watch our post-match interview with Assistant Manager Paul Wright following the heavy defeat, visit our X account.

Opposition : Darlaston Town FC
The Citizens have been struggling this season, as they are currently winless in 7 games, and only being able to score two goals throughout the games. Despite getting off to a decent start finding two wins and a draw out of their first 6 games, they began to drop results and eventually only managed to win 1 game out of 15 from the end of August. Struggling
throughout the entire season it was clear that the club needed a change, as that moment arrived on the 19th February 2026, when Exodus Geohaghon was unveiled their new manager, replacing Dean Gill who resigned earlier that month after nearly 5 years at the helm. Darlaston Town currently find themselves in 20th position, with 7 points separating
themselves and Newcastle Town.

The former English defender finds himself with the Citizens after a long playing career, being around the EFL and Lower Leagues. Exodus played for clubs such as ; Kettering Town, Peterborough United, Rotherham United, Mansfield Town and other clubs around the lower leagues where he managed to pick up plenty of experience under his belt. From being
rewarded with a managerial spot with the Northern Premier League West side, the vastly experienced defender hopes to save the club from relegation.
