Welcome to the club Will Bailey!
Newcastle Town is pleased to announce the arrival of Will Bailey who will be joining the club to work on the operations side of the club starting on Thursday 1 June.
Will is just about to finish his Masters in sport journalism atStaffordshire University having also completed an undergraduate degree at the same university.
He will be supporting our new operations manager Tom Sherratt with all aspects of organising bookings and events around the new 3G pitch, which opens to the public on Saturday 10 June. His wider remit of work will extend to supporting with the overall running of the football club as we continue to grow.
Will is no stranger to the non-league scene having worked as the club secretary and as a media officer with Hanley Town,so he brings a wide range of skills and knowledge to the role.
Will said: “I’m really excited at the prospect of working at the club and it’s obvious that there’ll be plenty to get stuck into. With the new pitch opening soon, a new manager at the helm and an overall feeling of positivity around the place, this is a great time to be starting a new role at Newcastle Town.”
