This weekend we welcome football back to The Red Industries Stadium when we host EFL League Two side and local friends Port Vale FC.
We have not seen football at home since Saturday 31st October 2020 when we entertained Nuneaton Borough in the FA Trophy but we have been working hard behind the scenes at the club to make sure that our ground is still in the best condition its ever been in with work on our changing rooms, a new cafe, and a new club shop.
Below is some information on the game which we hope will help supporters who are coming to what could be their first game in some time or for those that have never been to us before.
Turnstiles and Tickets Due to the current Pandemic, we have made this fixture an All Ticket game and also for the 2021/22 season we have also now introduced a brand new to the club, an online digital ticket system.
Supporters have been able to pre-purchase tickets via the ticket portal and have their match tickets sent to them via email or text. On Saturday we will have two turnstiles open to allow supporters in.
Please have your ticket either printed PDF copy or on your smart device ready as you approach the turnstile for scanning.
We also need to remind supporters that there will be no cash sales of tickets on the day
Car Parking We have grass parking available on Saturday by the ground on the Rugby pitches (shown below) however once all spaces are taken we ask all supporters to please park sensible in the surrounding areas and be sure to leave any property with access to their drives and garages.
Matchday Programme We will be producing a matchday digital online programme in which all supporters will be emailed a link on the morning of the game, and there will be a few limited printed copies available from the ground.
Bar and Cafe
The Clubhouse bar and cafe will be open from midday as advertised, for all hot and cold food and drink. We will also have an additional cafe open on Saturday serving just teas and coffee.
Track and Trace / Mask Wear We are still dealing with the Covid19 pandemic, we will have the NHS Track and Trace scan points at the ground, however as soon as your ticket scans you in this will also allow us to register you as been at the ground in the event of an outbreak.
We also ask supporters to maintain social distance around the ground where possible and if going into the cafe and bar you are required to wear a mask or face covering, however around the ground and in the stands you are not required, however, if you wish to wear a mask or face covering you are welcome to do so.
We will also be contacting all attendees on Sunday with a quick and simple feedback form via email on how your matchday experience was with us, this will allow us as a club to look at ways we can improve and tweak our current set-up to improve future matchday experiences.
We hope you all have an enjoyable afternoon back watching the football here at Newcastle Town Football Club
