Castle look to do the double over Liverpool visitors.
Last weekend was not the result that any of us were hoping for, however we have a chance to put things right as we face City Of Liverpool on Saturday.
It only seems like yesterday that we faced our opponents at the DCBL Stadium, in fact it was only just over a month ago.
That cold Monday night saw us come out 1-0 victors with Tim Grice grabbing his first goal for the club on his debut.
Since then Castle have won 2 in the league (3 in all competitions), drawn 1 and lost 2, with the losses coming to Hednesford and promotion chasing Widnes.
In the visitors’ corner it has been all change as just after that Monday night they parted company with manager Paul McNally.
Leading the Purps now is Kevin Lynch and his side will be looking to quickly bounce back after suffering a heavy defeat to Stafford Rangers last weekend.
In fact Lynch is still chasing his first win as City of Liverpool manager and our gaffer Neil Baker will be hoping that fact remains at full time on Saturday.
