Castle look north as they face the long trip to Clitheroe.
Well it certainly feels a while since we have watched the mighty blues in action, but Saturday presents an opportunity to do so.
Castle face their longest trip of the season as they travel up the M6 to face a Clitheroe side who they beat 2-1 in their last encounter.
However, all has changed at the hosts since that game. Yesterday they announced the departure of manager, Jimmy Bell.
Clitheroe were quick to announce that Sean McConville would be taking charge of the side for the future.
Back to us, and with our last competitive game being on the 30th November, it presents the chance for Castle to avenge our 2-1 defeat last time out to Widnes.
Manager, Neil Baker, will be hoping for a couple of new additions to his side, pending league approval of course.
Full back, Ollie Ritchie, will finally be able to serve his one match suspension that he picked up for 2 yellow cards in the previously mentioned visit to Widnes.
With a busy festive period up and coming Castle will be hoping to start their busy run of games with 3 points on Saturday.
