Under 12s Girls through to the final...
Huge congratulations to our Newcastle Town U12 Girls team for reaching the SGLFL League Cup Shield Final after a hard fought win on Saturday. Castle were 1-0 up at half time; however, they quickly found themselves behind early in the second half. The girls rallied and got themselves a well deserved equaliser with a late spot kick. After a tense set of penalties Castle emerged victorious, winning the shootout 3-2. We are all so proud of the progress the team has made, the incredible team bond they all have and the pride they show every time they pull on a Newcastle Town shirt. We wish them the best of luck in the final. Up The Castle!
