A look ahead to our weekend fixtures including important venue update.
It’s going to be another busy weekend of fixtures across all our teams, so wherever you are, you’ll be sure to get a chance to catch Newcastle Town in action.
Our men’s first team are away to Chasetown, but please take note – as per our social media updates earlier in the week – that this game will be held at Boldmere St. Michaels FC, which is based in Sutton Coldfield.
Chasetown are in the process of finalising their move to playing on a 3/4G turf pitch at their home ground in Burntwood. So, unless you like cranes and other heavy machinery don’t travel to Chasetown, as you’ll have a wasted journey!
Our men’s reserve team, who had their game at Foley Meir postponed due to a waterlogged pitch last weekend, entertain AFC Crewe with a 2pm kick off at Buckmaster Avenue on Saturday.
This is a key game for our reserves as Crewe are one place above our boys in 5th. If our reserves want to earn promotion this season, then this game really is one we need to win. Please get along to support Dave Dale and the boys if you can.
On to our women’s teams then and both are at home on Sunday. The first team are playing at Buckmaster Avenue and are taking on Leek Town at 2pm in the county cup. The tie will go to penalties if the teams are level after 90 minutes, so you’re guaranteed a result.
The women’s reserve team are also playing at homeat 2pm on Sunday. Their home fixture with Burton Albion takes place at Roe Lane.
There’s plenty there to get your chops round, so come down and watch some of our teams play – they’ll love your support!
